Why does your set include a metronome?

One of the things that sets our Music Set apart from others is the inclusion of a real working metronome. As a set that introduces children to the real foundations of music, it was important to include a tool that helps kids learn to keep a beat. One of the hardest things in learning music is knowing that “soft” doesn’t mean “slow,” and “loud” doesn’t mean “fast.” The ability to maintain a steady beat while playing different volumes or notes takes self control. The metronome itself uses animals to help children understand the difference between speeds and provides a fun and relatable way to understand tempo.
