The Montessori Ball and the Activity Mat are machine washable on the delicate cycle in cold water. The other parts of The Play Gym can be wiped clean with a damp cloth as needed.
To prepare the Activity Mat for laundering, follow these simple steps:
1. Fasten the three attachment loops on the corners of the mat to prevent any snags.
2. If your Activity Mat has a removable Learn to Focus Zone (the portion of the mat with the clear plastic windows), remove the Learn to Focus Zone.
3. If your Activity Mat includes the Sound Squares in the "Making Sound Zone," remove these before laundering.
4. Untie the fabric from the Organic Cotton Teething Ring and remove the Teething Ring from the “Hiding and Finding” Zone.
There--your Activity Mat is ready to wash!
Though the Activity Mat can be tumble dried on low or no heat, we recommend air drying to promote longevity. If your mat contains squeakers in the "Making Sound Zone," press on the squeakers a few times as the mat is drying to remove any water they may have taken up during the wash.
